About Me
I am the principal of Gypsum Creek Middle School in Gypsum, Colorado which is part of Eagle County Schools. Having worked for ECS since 1997, I have lived from one end of the valley to the other. The Vail/Eagle River Valley here in Eagle County is one of the most beautiful places in the country and an incredible community for my family to live. We enjoy snowboarding/skiing in the winter and fishing, camping, and hiking in the summer. I post pictures from the area sometimes on my flickr site so feel free to check them out.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education from Pittsburg State University in 1995. In 2006, I completed my Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership through the University of Northern Colorado. I hold both a current Professional Teacher license and a Professional Principal license within the state of Colorado. Having over 16 years of experience in education as a certified teacher and 5 years as an administrator, I am more enthusiastic about leading, learning, and learners than ever.
